Tournament Rules:
1. This tournament is a Scotch Doubles Tournament, consisting of 5 games on the same pair of lanes. Teams can consist of 2 women, 2 men, or mixed.
2. Scotch Doubles format will be used: Partner #1 throws the first ball. Partner #2 shoots the spare. If Partner #1 gets a strike, then Partner #2 throws the first ball of the next frame, and Partner #1 will shoot the spare, and so on.
3. Handicap will be 80% of the Team Average Limit of 450, which will then be divided in half for each game since each bowler is only bowling half a game.
4. Tournament average for handicap will be based on the following:
a) Your highest current USBC average of at least 12 games.
b) If bowlers do not have a current season average, then they will use their highest current
book average.
c) All others will bowl scratch (225).
d) Average verification is the responsiblility of each bowler. Bowlers without verifiable Slocum's or MBBA book averages must submit verification prior to bowling in order to receive handicap. If averages are not verified, the bowler will bowl scratch.
5. Standings will be based on the teams highest 4 out of 5 games qualifying score with handicap.
6. Participants must be 18 years of age or older, or have written consent from a parent/guardian.
7. In a case of a tie for prize positions, there will be a 9th & 10th frame roll-off, or the two positions will split money evenly if both parties agree.
8. All decisions of Tournament Management are final.
